The University of Lusaka seeks to recruit highly qualified, motivated full time Lecturers in the School of Law. The persons ought to be passionate about making a mark in the education sector. The University is looking for people who are well vested in the areas of Commercial Law, Criminal and Civil Procedure Administrative Law.
Responsibilities
- Conducting Lecturers for full-time, part-time and Distance classes
- Develop and improve course outlines and teaching materials for programs
- Carry out research and publish materials
- Prepare lesson plans at the start of each semester for the course
- Be involved in other administrative duties as an when assigned by management
- Self-motivated and resourceful with strong intellectual ability
- Ability to teach more than one course in a given program should be a goal getter, a team player and able to work with minimum supervision
- Must be articulate and have strong interpersonal skills high level of planning and organizing skills including multi-tasking
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, credit or better
- Master’s Degree in the relevant field of expertise obtained with a research/ thesis component
- A PHD in any of the fields mentioned above will be an added advantage
- Qualification in Teaching/ Lecturer experience will be an added
- Admission to the bar will be an added advantage
