AB Bank Zambia Limited is a bank with the mission to improve access to a broad range of financial services for the majority of Zambian businesses and their owners in a sustainable and efficient manner.
We are currently looking for the services of a Learning & Development Manager;

LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Main responsibilities:

  • Determines employee’s Learning & Development needs by Conducting an Annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and develop a Training Needs Plan & budget across all levels of employees
  • Utilizes and applies Gap Analysis (GP) process/ assessment tools to identify individual training gaps
  • Applies assessment results to develop Individual Development Plans (IDP) or targeted training for career progression
  • Incorporates a standard benchmark for training evaluation, which looks at learner satisfaction, training effectiveness, and business impact. Of all Instructor Led Training (ILT)
  • Ensures employee accessibility to the Learner Management System (AccessMind). Promotes the adoption of AccessMind to employees through marketing and/or other promotional activities,
  • Ensures a standard learning and development training policy and procedures are in place to manage learner intake, evaluation and reporting
  • Develops and or reviews training material to ensure the material is up to date with requirements. i.e. operational training material
  • Creates trust and positive relations with employees (towards L&D and the Bank), creates an excellent working atmosphere and healthy corporate culture
  • Maintains professional relationships with consultants, vendors and different stakeholders
  • Obtains, develops and maintains staff capable of accomplishing the L&D Function’s goals, support the achievement of the Bank’s strategic objectives and continuously develops own knowledge
  • At all times ensures the needs of the internal clients are being addressed in a timely, professional and respectful manner to include but not limited to employees, management & external customers/ clients

  • Good MS Office skills are an advantage (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Knowledge of bank’s procedures, regulations and general operations an added advantage
  • Very good technical and analytical skills

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor degree in education, human resources, or related field or related experience
  • 5 years of work experiences in one or more of the following: Learning, training, management, and/or classroom environment
  • Experience in bank operations an added advantage
  • Willingness to deliver trainings in the bank’s branches throughout the country and after official working hours and on Saturdays.
