Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple accounts for delinquency and debt collection efforts
  • Locate and contact debtors about outstanding obligations
  • Send out past due notices for delinquent accounts or for missed settlement payments
  • Investigate and resolve complaints regarding incorrect debt collection attempts
  • Report address changes and maintain files regarding debtors for correct and current contact information
  • Compile reports on delinquent accounts.

Skills and Abilities

  • Intermediate skills using MS Office and database software
  • Demonstrated skill in negotiating and resolving conflicts
  • Ability to speak persuasively and listen critically
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Prioritize multiple tasks to ensure the successful completion of each debt collection attempt

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounts/ ZICA Technician/ ACCA 1/ CIMA1 or any Related Field.
  • At least 2 years work experience in credit control and Debt Collection.
  • Driver’s License is a Must and a Motor Cycle License will be an added Advantage


Job Description

The Sales Executive is responsible for generating sales for the business using a variety of sales techniques.

Duties of the Sales Executive

  • Cold calling potential customers and selling the company’s products.
  • Researching the target market and finding companies to target.
  • Attending meetings with potential customers and closing sales.
  • Building a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales.
  • Working to monthly sales and revenue targets as set by the Marketing and business development Manager.
  • Progressing towards activity targets and KPI’s set by the Marketing and Business Development Manager.
  • Entering all required data for sales onto the company system.
  • Updating the CRM and inputting information on customers.
  • Providing assistance to other members of the sales team.
  • Following up on leads generated by other departments.
  • Investigating and resolving queries from customers.
  • Understanding the product and customer profile and write thorough specs for each.
  • Monitoring ongoing campaign spend against the budget, keeping accurate records and highlighting where variances occur.


  • Minimum a Diploma in Marketing or any Related Field
  • Age :25-30
  • Experience in the same field will be an added advantage.

3. SALES MANAGER (1) (Copperbelt)

Requirements of the Role

The Sales and Marketing will manage support functions essential to sales force and productivity
Minimum qualification


  • A University Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration or a Qualification equivalent
  • Five years sales management experience in a business to business sales environment, experience in ICT, MOBILE NETWORKS industry.


  • Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Monitor customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
  • Direct and coordinate activities involving sales of manufactured products, services, commodities, real estate or other subjects of sale.
  • Determine price schedules and discount rates.
  • Review operational records and reports to project sales and determine profitability.
  • Direct, coordinate, and review activities in sales and service accounting and recordkeeping, and in receiving and shipping operations
  • Confer or consult with department heads to plan advertising services and to secure information on equipment and customer specifications.
  • Advise dealers and distributors on policies and operating procedures to ensure functional effectiveness of business.
  • Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures
  • Represent company at trade association meetings to promote products.
  • Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs.
  • Visit franchised dealers to stimulate interest in establishment or expansion of leasing programs.
  • Confer with potential customers regarding equipment needs and advise customers on types of equipment to purchase.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or equivalent.
  • MBA or Post – Graduate is a plus.
  • Professional qualifications like CIM desirable
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Marketing field in a Telecom environment will be an added advantage
  • Should have a valid Driver’s License

  • Get distribution in the retail stores
  • Distribute Astro products through selected major mobile devices distribution network
    Ensure all major informal mobile vendors sell Astro products
  • Ensure all formal retailers of mobile devices sell Astro products
  • Distribute Astro products through selected major Employers e.g. Government, Uniformed forces, Reputable Companies and organizations
  • Build business cases for new markets
  • Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
