Kafubu Water and Sanitation Company Limited is a Commercial Water Utility Company providing quality Water and Sanitation Services to its customers in Ndola, Luanshya, and Masaiti districts. In its quest to improve service delivery, the Company seeks to employ suitably, highly motivated and goal-oriented professionals to fill the following positions in the Company;

Job Title: MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Job Purpose

To ensure the management information system of the Company is properly adhered to by timely preparation of reliable Management Accounts in order to facilitate proper and adequate decision-making and ensure correct financial records.

Principal Accountabilities

  • The tasks and responsibilities of the Management Accountant include :
  • Timely preparation of management accounts in order to provide information for management control and decision making
  • To ensure timely preparation of the company’s annual budget and ensure budgetary control by providing monthly variance analysis reports.
  • To participate in the development and implementation of Management Information Systems
  • To provide effective supervision of staff in order to ensure achievement of sectional objectives
  • To ensure correct costing and capturing of all stock items
  • To maintain an up to date fixed asset register in order to safeguard company assets

Desired Qualifications/Skills

  • Full ACCA/ZICA/CIMA or equivalent
  • Full Grade 12 certificate
  • Must be a fully paid-up member of ZlCA.
  • Knowledge of an ERP such as Promun will be an added advantage

Person Specification

  • Excellent knowledge of cost accounting and reporting
  • Exceptional accounting and reporting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have a minimum of three years working experience in finance.
