EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS OFFICER

Kafubu Water and Sewerage Company is a water utility company on the Copperbelt providing water and sanitation services to its customers in Ndola, Luanshya and Masaiti. In its quest to provide efficient and high quality water and sewerage services within its prescribed operational areas on a sustainable commercial basis, the Company seeks to recruit a dynamic and self driven high caliber person to fill the following vacancy:-

POSITION: COMMERCIAL OPERATIONS OFFICER
REPORTS TO: MANAGER COMMERCIAL SERVICES
LOCATION: NDOLA

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure proper control and efficiency of the Commercial Services Section

DUTIES

  • Ensuring proper planning and execution of works in order to achieve set goals
  • Ensure timely production of accurate bills and efficient distribution to customers
  • Maximizing revenue collection by the implementation of efficient debt management strategies
  • Taking advantage of new business opportunities for expansion of customer base
  • Overseeing customer account maintenance and transaction activities
  • Providing quality Customer Care Service
  • Aggressively marketing company products and services
  • Effectively manage stakeholder relationship in the region
  • Liaising with other departments on matters relating to efficient service delivery
  • Promoting the Company’s succession plan by training and developing subordinates
  • Timely submission of departmental reports to supervisors
  • Ensuring adherence to all NWASCO compliance requirements.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent qualification with at least three years relevant working experience.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer Literacy.
  • In possession of a clean driving license
