The Ministry of Finance on behalf of its public sector client organization invites applications from self-driven, proactive, innovative and result oriented individuals to fill the following vacancy:

DIRECTOR ANALYSIS (SL 2) REPORTING TO THE CEO

Purpose of the job

The job holder will be responsible for overseeing the collection and analysis of data in order to produce financial insights.

Main Duties

• Overseeing timely the designing and operationalization of instruments and systems in order to facilitate analysis of financial data.
• Overseeing timely research in order to ensure publication of patterns for decision making.
• Overseeing effectively, the maintenance of statistics in order to facilitate regulatory compliance and sharing of information.
• Overseeing effectively the collection and analysis of financial reports in order to determine irregularities.
• Overseeing timely, the preparation of work plans and implementation of the annual performance appraisal system in order to monitor and evaluate performance.
• Oversees effectively, the utilization of human, financial, and other resources in order to facilitate the achievement of Institutional objectives.

Academic and Professional Qualifications

• Full-Form V School/ Grade 12 Certificate
• Bachelors Degree in Banking and Finance or it’s equivalent
• Masters Degree in Banking and Finance or its equivalent or certification in relevant disciplines is an added advantage

Work Experience/Competencies/Attributes

• 10 years of relevant experience of which 4 should be at management level
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Ability to write analytical and technical reports
• Computer Literacy
• Integrity
• Tact and Diplomacy
• Interpersonal skills
• Analytical
• Numeracy
