The Global Partnerships Team are the hands and feet of Oasis. It builds discipleship through promoting African voices in Africa and the world. Its members generate revenue by being passionate advocates for our amazing books and Bibles as they identify and close sales and fundraising opportunities. For each relationship cultivation or product sales opportunity, the team works together to form strategies to meet our partners specific needs. As follow up steps are taken and tracked for in person meetings, calls, or electronic communication, each team member develops deep and significant relationships with current and future partners who believe in the power of God’s Word to change lives.
The Regional Director’s main focus is to maximize revenue by building relationships and managing the sales process. The Director will follow defined steps with prospects, so that each prospect is moved from discovery, collaborative listening, developing and testing, and then to further expanding each partnership over time. This includes both sales of products to major customers and cultivating gifts from donors, foundations and organizations located in their region. Many of our partners (churches, denominations, ministries, individuals) have potential for both product sales and gift revenue, so the Director will work to understand the needs and potential to maximize the partnership in each area. The Director will develop a list of top prospects, match the potential partners’ objectives and criteria with the Oasis solution, and assist in building the required infrastructure for their region.

We will do everything well to capture the attention of the donor, build interest, involve them in a meaningful way and encourage them to take action. Qualifications
1) An entrepreneurial personality (self-starter, able to work remotely and independently) with experience in sales and/or fundraising.
2) Experience traveling internationally and working with different cultures, preferably some in the USA.
3) Excellent listening, verbal communication, and critical thinking skills.
4) Sincere commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, board members, volunteers, donors, program participants, and other partners and supporters.
5) Demonstrates a sacrificial servant heart, is passionate about growing the global Church, cares about people as made in the image of God, and is committed to collaboratively work towards excellence.
Responsibilities
- Build Awareness of Oasis within the Region: Be the face of Oasis by making presentations, calls, and visits and promote Oasis’s books, Bibles, authors, and programs widely.
- Build and Maintain Relationships within the Region: Nurture relationships with booksellers, wholesalers, and partner ministries to identify and meet their unique discipleship resource needs as well as cultivate individuals and organizations capable of giving to Oasis.
- Oversee God’s Word for Africa Projects in Region: Recruit and serve applicants and find donors to fund projects
- Manage Financial Expectations: Meet or exceed stated revenue and activity targets while remaining at or under-budgeted expenses.
