RADIATION PROTECTION AUTHORITY

The Radiation Protection Authority (RPA) is a regulatory body under the Ministry of Health. The Authority was established by the Ionising Radiation Protection Act No 16 of 2005 and it’s Amendment No. 19 of 2011. The mandate of RPA is to protect the public, workers and the environment from hazards arising from the use of devices or materials capable of producing ionizing radiation.

The Authority is looking for suitably qualified persons to apply for an internship:

TECHNOLOGIST-INTERNSHIP (2)

Experience and Qualifications

  • Full Grade 12 School Certificate or its equivalent
  • Diploma in a physical Science i.e. Radiography, Chemistry, Physics or its equivalent from a recognized institution
  • No prior work experience is required for Internship
