Silverlands Zambia Ltd is an agricultural business which operates in Central and Southern provinces with its head office situated in Lusaka. The Company wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the following position for our ranch in Zimba:

Job Title: Financial Accountant X 1

Job Role:

  • Budgets design, development, and management;
  • Production of monthly management accounts;
  • Ownership of balance sheet;
  • Credit Management;
  • Cash Management;
  • Oversight on sales and sales contracts;
  • Maintain fixed asset register and reconcile quarterly;
  • Monitoring of project charges against budget and cost allocations;
  • Stock control and issues management;
  • Monthly reconciliation of payroll.

 

Requirements:

  • Full ACCA/ CIMA or ZICA qualification- must be a member of ZICA;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ work experience (preferably in an Agri-business environment);
  • Excellent management, communication, and mentorship skills;
  • Must be able to exercise confidentiality and professionalism;
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, oral and written communication skills;
  • Able to work on modern ERP & IT systems (Pastel Evolution);
  • Good working knowledge of Excel;
  • Diligent with strong attention to detail;
  • Sound knowledge of accounting regulations;
  • Sound decision making.
