Development Aid from People to People (DAPP) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced persons to apply for positions of sales assistants in the Clothes & Shoes Fundraising Project which deals in second-hand clothes and shoes Retail Shops throughout the country. The project’s core objective is to raise funds for the DAPP social welfare programs in Zambia while also providing clothes and shoes to people at affordable prices. The positions are available across Zambia.

Duties and Essential Job Functions

  • Sell the clothes and shoes as delivered to the shop for that purpose by DAPP in Zambia.
  • Participate fully in the production activities at the time of preparing the products in readiness for each trading cycle.
  • Keep the shop and its surroundings clean and ensure all products are within their designated locations and according to the agreed standards, i.e. correct colouring and categorization.
  • Be fully part of the Salesforce team and work towards achieving daily, weekly and monthly targets.
  • Ensure customer service is delivered as per company standard, i.e. assist customers, maintain good customer relations and record new customer contacts.
  • Practice honesty and faithfulness in all areas of responsibility.
  • Maintain punctuality at all times.

Required qualifications

  • Grade 12
  • Knowledge of selling the second-hand clothes and shoes
  • Minimum one (01) year experience
