Job Title: Projects Engineer

Purpose: To carry out Planning, studies, surveys, and implementation of projects related to new installations/construction, make alterations to old mechanical equipment as well as civil structures when the need arises.

Reports to: Engineering Manager

Duties will include:

• Developing. generating and preparing a technical scope of works for projects.
• Preparing projects budget and seek approval with justification
• Conducting an impact assessment of the project on the surrounding community/environment.
• Implementing projects and monitoring associated costs.
• Adherence to applicable standards and specifications
• Scrutinizing documents such as quality control plans, construction drawings, design calculations and procedures
• Evaluating bids with other team members

Requirements:

• Grade 12 School Certificate with 5 ‘0’ level credits, three of which should English.
• Mathematics and Science.
• BSc. Mechanical or Civil Engineering
• Five (5) years’ work experience as a projects Engineer.
• Knowledge of Engineering standards, specifications & procedures.
• Project management qualification will be an added advantage.
• Must be a member of EIZ
• Age: 35 – 45 years.
