Duties and Accountabilities

The Consultant will:

  • conduct food safety assessments and deliver advisory services for IFC client companies in Zambia in accordance with IFC reporting methodology and templates to design, in consultation with IFC staff, the most appropriate Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) implementation strategy for each company; contribute to business development, explore areas for potential clients for IFC Manufacturing Agribusiness and Services (MAS) Advisory;
  • conduct capacity building training workshops on food safety according to the methodology, tools and materials developed by IFC, for local food safety consultants in Zambia.
  • The Consultant will provide consulting and technical advice, conduct training, provide technical reviews for documentation developed by clients, and monitor project timelines for the implementation process.
