Job Purpose
With reporting to the Country Sales Manager, the Nutritionist Sales Representative will be responsible for selling “nutritional benefits” of 260 Brands’ products and can take lead to sell a specific product line across multiple market segments and districts.
Key responsibilities
1. Developing and supporting sales goals in rural markets, focused in 3 districts neighboring Lusaka
2. Educating various customers and shoppers on health benefits, pertaining to our products
3. Focus on building sales at, but not limited to, Hospitals, Clinics, and Schools
4. Comprehensive knowledge of all products, protocols, and guidelines as well as the ability to deliver the information in a selling environment
5. Plan marketing requirements and manage a team of promoters to support with wet demonstrations, activations, and tastings
6. Coordinate with loading and managing sales early in the morning, as this will require cold chain logistics
7. Effective administrative skills, with time management
8. Budget management
9. Ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy.
10. Desire to be self- motivated, seeking out success at achieving both short and long-term goals.
Key Qualifications
1. Diploma in Nutrition is required
a. Bachelor’s degree not required but a plus
2. Must be able to lift up to 10 kgs to assist with stocking and the movement of beverages
3. Experience is not required, but a plus
4. Territory: responsible for Lusaka, Chongwe, Mumba, and Kafue districts
5. Candidates with proficient literacy in English, Bemba, and Chinyanja
6. Enjoys engaging with a host of different people and strong potential to generate sales opportunities
7. Sales and marketing skills ideal but not required
