JOB DETAILS:

Industry- Surface blasthole drill rigs and related rock drilling tools Manufacturing for Mining Industry
Job Summary: Oversee the service contract for ADS blast hole drill rigs and related rock drilling tools services at Mine in the North-Western Province of Zambia. The person will be expected to develop and manage a site-based team that will deliver maximum equipment availability and other agreed KPIs while ensuring the highest safety level is maintained at all times. The overall intention is to deliver the maximum value to the customer in terms of supporting them to achieve their production targets at minimum cost while delivering sustainable healthy business. .

Requirements (Education and experience)

1. Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent through experience. 2. A result oriented & experienced Management professional with at least 10 years of experience in handling large Service Agreements and Service Operations within surface mines.

3. Good understanding of maintenance practices, workshop and safety standards.

4. The candidate should demonstrate past experience in mentoring, coaching and developing local technicians to a high level of competence.

5. Hands-on technical knowledge in advanced hydraulics, electrics and drill rig operation would be an advantage.
