Capstone Management Company Limited invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill in the position of SENIOR ICT OFFICER.
JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the overall responsibility of the Senior ICT Officer is to provide leadership in the design, development, and implementation of the ICT operational strategy for and manage the ICT infrastructure, and technical operations in order to provide an outstanding service to the business including the delivery of innovative, effective, efficient ICT systems and applications that enhances business growth.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS.
- Grade 12 Certificate with 5 ‘O’ levels with a credit or better in Mathematics and English
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Studies or equivalent
- Member of a professional ICT Institute
- Not less than five (5) years’ experience in a similar role

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops Capstone Group’s ICT strategy, which identifies the future direction of the use of technology, including solutions and opportunities to improve service delivery and business performance, including budgeting and preparation of business cases;
- Manages ICT infrastructure and responsible for delivering ICT solutions and project managing their implementation;
- Manages information and communication technology, networks, computer systems, VOIP telephone systems as well as installations, configuration, commissioning of wireless radios, VSAT installations and commissioning;
- Designs develops, implements, and coordinates systems, ICT-related policies and procedures;
- Continuously reviews ICT Infrastructure, making capacity recommendations for improvement capacity of local ICT Systems in support of on-going business operations & future requirements;
- Ensures that Capstone Group meets legal and contractual obligations relating to ICT resources, systems, services, and usage, complying with legislative requirements (e.g. data protection, safeguarding, and licensing requirements);
- Ensures security of data, network access, and back-up systems;
- Liaises with external bodies, contractors, and service providers in the provision of an effective and efficient ICT service;
- Manages troubleshooting, system backup, disaster recovery, and provides expert support when necessary;
- Accountable for the provision of all ICT infrastructure systems & support services, servers, LAN, telecommunications, remote access & Desktop support;
- Maintains accurate asset registers of physical and digital ICT assets;
- Responsible for software updates across the whole infrastructure;
- Procures, develops, and maintains communication systems including email, mobile phones, and websites, ensuring innovative, effective, and practical solutions whilst obtaining the best value;
- Ensures that there is an effective and up to date Disaster Recovery Plan for ICT services, ensuring robust backup and failover procedures;
