We are looking for committed and focused person to undertake procurement, storage, offices & house rentals, fleet management, asset register maintenance, and IT services liaison in accordance to Oxfam and donor standards.
Eligibility: you must be a Zambian National
Salary range: ZMK224,484-287,340 pa
Contract type & tenure: Fixed term, 2 years initially and renewable subject to availability of funding
Gratuity: 10% of annual gross pensionable salary for each completed year of service paid when you exit Oxfam employment
Medicals: CIGNA plan for employee, registered spouse and biological/legally adopted children up to 18 years
Leave: 24 days annual leave, 10 days compassionate leave, 10 days Paternity leave, 4 days Urgent personal business leave
Funeral grant: K18,707 for registered dependants
SKILLS
- Clean driving license held for more than 2 years
- Diplomacy, tact and negotiating skills
- Team working skills
- Flexibility under pressure and able to work with little supervision
- Confident and articulate and able to represent Oxfam GB at a senior level to outside organisations and in other Oxfam offices
- Attention to detail and excellent numeracy
- Good computer skills
- Technical skills with computer servers and IT networks
- Mechanical and electrical skills, able to troubleshoot vehicle and/or generator problems
- Handyman skills – able to make or supervise small repairs
- Willingness to travel within Zambia
KNOWLEDGE
- Financial management ability
- Zambian security and highway code
- Good fleet management
- Procurement principles
- IT providers and trends
EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of work experience at least two of which is at a similar level position in logistics or fleet management
- Significant experience in purchasing, warehousing, vehicle management and administration to high levels of transparency, accountability and rigour
- Practical experience in working with HF and VHF radios
- Training experience
- Experience of supervision of staff
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree or similar qualification in Logistics or finance related field or the equivalent experience
- Paid up member of Zambia Institute of Purchasing and Supply with valid practicing license
- Clean driving license held for more than 2 years
