Duties & Responsibilities

A reputable Pensions Administration company is looking to hire a suitably qualified Pensions Administrator. The Pensions Administrator will be based in Lusaka, reporting to the Senior Pensions Administrator. They will be required to demonstrate ability in providing effective and efficient pension administration services to clients whilst contributing to the overall objectives of the company. The applicant must be able to work with minimum supervision.

The Pensions Administrator role will require the applicant to be able to undertake the following roles:

Duties:

  1. Monthly contribution reconciliation
  2. Daily Query Resolutions
  3. Reporting to PIA on non-contributing employers on a monthly basis
  4. Give an initial oversight on records
  5. Follow up on delayed contributions payment by the employer
  6. Monthly payment reconciliation
  7. Benefit claims payments
  8. Pension administrator – contributions, claims, data integrity
  9. Regulatory compliance – a system set up, SLA adherence
  10. Risk management – identification of risks in the admin process
  11. Consultancy, marketing, and client liaison ad hoc assignments.
  12. Accurate contribution upload
  13. Accurate claims settlement
  14. Regulatory compliance of admin process(SLA)
  15. Risk management of the admin process
  16. Accurate new scheme system set up
  17. Client liaison & retention
  18. Query resolution
  19. Impeccable (Faultless) data (Data integrity)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education, Training, and Experience:

The suitable candidate must be in possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or any business related field. Candidate should have at least 4 years working experience in a similar role.

Skill and Ability:

A proactive, energetic person who takes the initiative and has excellent problem-solving skills. Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms. The right candidate must exhibit high levels of integrity. A quick learner, who is a supportive and a motivating leader, a strong team player as well as being able to team lead, with a passion for sustainable and consistent delivery.
