We, therefore, invite applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following position:

Pharmacist Technologist ( Lusaka X1)

Contract: Part-Time

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Procurement of essential medicines for the Clinic
• Evaluation of medicines use through analysis of clinic disease patterns
• Storage of medicines in accordance with prescribed standards by the authority
• Assessing the quality, safety, and efficacy of medicines available
• Receiving and verifying supplies vs. invoices and inform the supplier if any shortages or overages
• Monitor expiry dates for the medicines and drugs and takes action to avert losses.
• Reporting and requisitioning of medicines use
• Advising other health practitioners prescribes on rational medicine use

The job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

• A full grade Twelve certificate with a minimum of six (6) credits
• Diploma in Pharmacy Technology
• HPCZ Membership
• Self-motivated, numeric and excellent interpersonal skills
