Plan International Zambia has programme units in: Central, Luapula, Eastern, province and in Lusaka, where the Country Office (CO) is located.

Plan’s is looking for innovative, motivated self starter individuals to fill the following vacancy:

Sponsorship Administrator (Lusaka)

Job Purpose:

To coordinate all activities, related to the business of sponsorship, community capacity building, communications and child data systems.

Job holder reports to the Sponsorship Manager and s/he will be; 

  • Monitoring that communications and quality standards are being met and any identified discrepancies are reported and areas of improvement outlined
  • Coordinating and monitoring the roll out of new sponsorship communications systems in all the PU’s while ensuring the meaningful participation of children
  • Coordinating the functional and technical training of staff, children and communities in new communications approaches and child data project
  • Contributing to the development of Plan International Zambia Growth Plan and local child enrolment criteria
  • Contribute to the design of effective planning and monitoring tools for the Programme Unit Sponsorship department

Individual Specifications include:

  • 2-3 years experience in a similar position
  • Higher diploma in Social Work/Development Studies or any other related field
  • Demonstrated record of excellence in communications management support
  • Experience in training and facilitation of child sponsorship, child protection and participation is an added advantage.
  • Experience in NGO sector; working with children and communities; and managing child-related programs and projects would be an advantage.
