Job Title: Business Development Manager – Sales Task Force
- The job incumbent will be responsible for the development and implementation of Business strategies and deliver results as per the business plan.
- He/She will ensure that capacity and resources are maximised at the best margin.
- Help in defining organizational strategic goals, build key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and close business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of the current market.
- Responsible to lead strategic negotiations and discussions and ensures implementation of agreed strategies.
- Participates and follows up in due diligence exercises and ensures proper action plan is developed and necessary resources are available for implementation.
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, evaluating all option and recommending equity investments.
- Analyses the strengths, weaknesses, and threats of the competition.
- Build and capitalises on a strong Marketing Intelligence Unit.
- Prepares feasibility studies for new projects.
- Prepares and recommends budgets, cash flow targets, costing and pricing structures to the Strategic Management Committee/Board.
- Liaise with the legal adviser to compile all required legal documents for projects.
- Ensures that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all staffs are defined and understood.
- Participate actively in the training and development of staff and succession planning.
- Manage change and develop a customer-driven attitude and management system within the Group.
- Aims to meet or exceeds sales targets and Gross profit set for the division.
- Perform after sales service by making regular on-site visits to customers.
Profile:
- Master’s Degree in Management.
- A minimum of 10 years in a dynamic commercial environment in a similar position (betting industry).
- The job incumbent shall have a high level of expertise in his/her field, good technical knowledge of Marketing, together with strong people management and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of the betting industry.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to develop, plan and implement short to long-term goals.
- Ability to maintain high standards of corporate governance principles.
