The University seeks to recruit suitably qualified individuals for the position “Public Relations Officer”.

Job Description:

  1. Events Planning and Management.
  2. Making first level meetings for the Vice-Chancellor with various Government Ministries, Embassies, and Organizations.
  3. Press Release Writing Composing and updating Social Media I.e Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  4. Media Monitoring and Evaluation.
  5. Coordinating Student’s Clubs Affairs.
  6. Organization to Organization Marketing.
  7. Organizing Press Conferences.
  8. Planning and organizing talk series.
  9. Advert placement and negotiations External Communication.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations or its equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of work experience (an added advantage in a learning institution)
  3. Public Speaker and good writing skills.
