REGIONAL MANAGER
KEY QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES :
- Full grade twelve certificates with at least a merit in Mathematics & English;
- Full ACII/AIISA or equivalent professional qualification;
- Diploma in marketing will be an added advantage;
- Must at least be 30 years of age
- At least 7 years’ experience in individual life insurance sales (Zambian Market); Strong communication skills;
- Strong people skills;
- Computer literate;
- Should be able to meet deadlines, be flexible and use initiative;
- Should have good report writing skills and must be a
- Team player – at least 5 years’ experience in team management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Achieving annual sales budget for the region.
- Selecting, interviewing, recruiting and training team leaders and sales representatives to build and maintain productive sales teams.
- Appraising performance of team leaders as well as sales representatives in the region on a quarterly basis and taking remedial action in cases of non-performance.
- Supervising, motivating and recommending financing of new sales representatives.
- Maintaining accurate records for the teams and individual sales representatives in the region.
- Ensuring the existing business is conserved through effective after-sales service strategies.
- Producing weekly and monthly production reports.
- Retaining team leaders and sales representatives on the books of the company to enhance continuity.
- Negotiating for new stop order agreements and supervising the effective collection of stop order premiums in the region.
