Regional Operations Managers (ROM) will perform various functions intended to establish Investcorp Zambia Limited in the north/west region of Zambia.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, monitor, and manage operations;
• Achieve and improve company’s goals;
• Ensure adherence to company operational and administrative procedures;
• Work hand-in-hand with management in order to achieve company objectives;
• Assist in the recruitment of staff and evaluate performance of the region;
• Lead the planning and actively implement marketing and sales activities;
• Discipline staff who go against company policies;
• Oversee performance-based bonuses/salary increments to workers that merit them;
• Give feedback on regional activities to ensure company objectives flow as expected;
• Travel frequently within and outside the region;
   Perform any other responsibilities as directed.

Competencies:

• Good decision making ability/skill;
• Good analytical skills are required for tackling problems that may come up on a daily basis;
• Good communication skills;
• Ability to work as part of a team;
• Demonstrate maturity and excellent leadership skill;
• Very good time management skill to be able to beat deadlines and display efficiency.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing or Engineering. A combination of a technical and business related field will be added advantage. Diploma holders with extensive experience are welcome to apply;
• 3-5 years industry relevant experience;
• Membership to relevant professional body will also be of great advantage;
• Driver’s license is a must-have.
