Teacher of English Language/Literature in English and Religious Education
Minimum qualifications and requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (English and Religious Education)
- Qualified teacher registered with The Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ)
- At least 2 years’ teaching experience
- Must be familiar with the school pathways of Examinations Councils of Zambia (ECZ) and Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE)
Duties include, but are not limited to;
- Presenting lessons to learners in a comprehensive manner
- Providing individualized instructions to each pupil by promoting interactive learning
- Creating and distributing educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
- Assessing and recording learners progress and providing results and feedback
- Maintaining tidy and orderly classrooms
- Collaborating with other teachers, parents and participating in regular meetings
- Planning and executing educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
- Developing and enriching professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc.
- Enforcing regulations concerning learners conduct and discipline
