As an equal opportunity employer, Rhodes Park School requires the services of suitably qualified well-motivated, results driven candidate with good communication, administrative and interpersonal skills, with at least Five (5) O Levels to be appointed in the position below:

Teacher of English Language/Literature in English and Religious Education

Minimum qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education (English and Religious Education)
  • Qualified teacher registered with The Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ)
  • At least 2 years’ teaching experience
  • Must be familiar with the school pathways of Examinations Councils of Zambia (ECZ) and Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE)

Duties include, but are not limited to;

  • Presenting lessons to learners in a comprehensive manner
  • Providing individualized instructions to each pupil by promoting interactive learning
  • Creating and distributing educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
  • Assessing and recording learners progress and providing results and feedback
  • Maintaining tidy and orderly classrooms
  • Collaborating with other teachers, parents and participating in regular meetings
  • Planning and executing educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
  • Developing and enriching professional skills and knowledge by attending seminars, conferences etc.
  • Enforcing regulations concerning learners conduct and discipline
