Rhodes Park School is Zambia’s leading private education institution and has been serving Lusaka’s parents since the 1960’s.We offer kindergarten to high School (k-12) classes that follow local and international syllabus. The school employs a large work force carrying out academic, administrative and support functions.

Overall Responsibilities

This is a mid – management position. The holder will be an assistant to the Chief Accountant, and will be an integral and senior member of the Finance Department. Responsibilities revolve around a full range of duties in the fields of financial and management accounting, including preparation of company accounts and various reports to senior management and the board of Directors

Required Qualifications

  •  At least holder of bachelors of accountancy or full NATECH, plus
  •  Finalist in ACCA or ZICA professional
  •  Minimum of 3 years progressive work experience in Accounting, with clear and traceable work history
  •  Demonstrated ability to produce final accounts
  •  Experience and proficient in the use of PASTEL accounting software, with extensive knowledge of the basic PASTEL system infrastructure
  •  Experience in payroll software and preparation of monthly payroll
  •  Preparation of monthly VAT returns and hand experience in the usage of ZRA ASCUDA TaxOnline system
  •  The role involves interaction with stakeholders at all levels of the institution and good interpersonal skills are essential
