Responsibilities
  • Provides administrative support to Department Head and to the Central Purchasing group.
  • Conserves Executive’s time by reading, researching and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents;
  • collecting and analyzing information and initiating telecommunications.
  • Maintains Executive’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences and travel (domestic and international).
  • Prepares various purchasing reports by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Create professional PowerPoint presentations utilizing charts, diagrams, and graphs.
  • Manage the organization of visits, company events, and workshops.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Displays a professional, detail-oriented and proactive approach.
  • Supports the buyers in ensuring accurate information is entered into the purchasing systems/databases, creating necessary legal documents and supporting the buyers in various other purchasing tasks as required.
  • Reconciling invoice issues between Bosch and suppliers.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred) in Business or related area.
  • Minimum 3+ years of Administrative Assistant experience.
  • 5+ years of experience using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook in a Windows environment
  • Proactive and organized, with the ability to take initiative.
  • Creative, detail-oriented, resourceful and self-motivated.
  • Able to work in constantly changing work processes and environment.
  • Results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as a team member.
  • Professional demeanor, with the ability to make independent decisions.
  • Technically savvy, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to navigate web-based systems.
  • Web page editing experience is a plus
