Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to Department Head and to the Central Purchasing group.
- Conserves Executive’s time by reading, researching and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents;
- collecting and analyzing information and initiating telecommunications.
- Maintains Executive’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences and travel (domestic and international).
- Prepares various purchasing reports by collecting and analyzing information.
- Create professional PowerPoint presentations utilizing charts, diagrams, and graphs.
- Manage the organization of visits, company events, and workshops.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Displays a professional, detail-oriented and proactive approach.
- Supports the buyers in ensuring accurate information is entered into the purchasing systems/databases, creating necessary legal documents and supporting the buyers in various other purchasing tasks as required.
- Reconciling invoice issues between Bosch and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s degree preferred) in Business or related area.
- Minimum 3+ years of Administrative Assistant experience.
- 5+ years of experience using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook in a Windows environment
- Proactive and organized, with the ability to take initiative.
- Creative, detail-oriented, resourceful and self-motivated.
- Able to work in constantly changing work processes and environment.
- Results-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as a team member.
- Professional demeanor, with the ability to make independent decisions.
- Technically savvy, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to navigate web-based systems.
- Web page editing experience is a plus
