Rusangu University, an Adventist Institution of higher learning, registered and recognised by the Higher Education Authority is looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following vacant position:

Job Title: Administrative Assistant (1)

Location: Kitwe (1)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Full grade 12 certificate
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities, Social Sciences or any other related field
  • 2 to 3 years of work experience in similar position in an academic environment

Duties:

  1. Manage student admissions process
  2. Prepare Lectures’ payments
  3. Receiving and packaging exams
  4. Prepare student timetables in good time before a session begins
  5. Conduct course pre-registration
  6. Monitor student class attendance
  7. Supervise work program students
  8. Manning reception
  9. Coordinate online registration liaison with IT department
  10. Data and records maintenance
  11. Filling of University documents
  12. Make Lecturers and students’ files
