Sales Interns Needed: StudyMate Education Solutions


StudyMate Education Solutions is a leading distributor for a digital library of 3D animations and simulations for Sciences and Mathematics (Grade 1 to 12) that can be used by teachers and learners. We also distribute equipment for science labs and classrooms. The role of a sales executive intern will be to sell as many of the company’s products as possible.

So, what will you actually be doing?

Your job is to sell as many of the products assigned to you as possible, as well as develop and maintain a good relationship with clients.

As a sales executive, you will need to:

  • Man the table space at a shopping mall, for a demo of our products
  • Visit potential customers for new business
  • Provide customers with quotations
  • Negotiate the terms of an agreement and close sales
  • Gather market and customer information
  • Represent the organization at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities
  • Record sales and send copies to the sales office
  • Review your own sales performance

Qualities we look for and appreciate:

  • Intelligence, friendly personality, drive and presentable
  • Energetic with a passion for selling and understanding customer needs
  • Wants to understand the ICT for education space
  • Interested in learning about technology for the classroom
    Must be enrolled as a full-time student, preferably at a four-year college/university, with an intended graduation between December 2018 and June 2019, or recently graduated.
  • Any prior experience in retail direct sales would be an added advantage
  • Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualifications required – Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Sales or IT
  • The ability to sell

  • Possess excellent communication skills

  • Having high degree of self-motivation and ambition
