Sales and Marketing Manager Wanted: FSG Zambia Ltd
FSG (Zambia) Limited (“the Company”) is a leading funeral services provider in Lusaka. The company also acts as funeral insurance provider in partnership with Sanlam Zambia. The Company has plans to expand its operations to all major towns in Zambia over the next five years.
The Company is looking to appoint a dynamic and result-oriented person as its Sales & Marketing Manager who shall report to the General Manager and shall be responsible to strategically lead and oversee all the Sales and Marketing department of the Company and also manage the expansion plans.
SALES & MARKETING MANAGER
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Manage, promote and develop the Marketing plans of the Company;
- Improve Sales processes, controls and systems and functional management;
- Develop Sales and Marketing business strategy and ensure implementation
- Provide effective leadership to the agents and staff of the Company;
- Manage the expansion of the Company within Zambia, in accordance with the directions of the General Manager
- Manage and minimise business risks;
- Develop and manage relationship with business partners, customers, suppliers and government departments; and
- Directly responsible for revenue numbers for Assurance Operations
- Hiring and management of Sales Agents
- Consumer research to identify customer needs
- Assurance Product development
- Ability to develop the brand
- Develop annual sales strategies for the company. Perform such other relevant tasks as may be delegated by the General Manager
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- At least five (5) years operational and senior management experience with strong proven leadership skills;
- Tertiary Degree or equivalent professional qualification; and
- Proven hands-on experience in managing a medium-sized team of staff,
- A member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing
- Ability to communicate and be an effective leader;
- Skill to manage business growth and expansion;
- Sound knowledge of business operations and processes;
- Ability to design and ensure effective implementation of systems and controls;
- Ability to prudently manage capital and human resources.
