Heavy Equipment Technician
The role
The role of a Heavy Equipment Repair Technician is to maintain and repair underground mining trackless equipment as per Sandvik standards to meet customer expectations.
Key performance areas
- Achieve company standard for completion of work orders.
- Achieve MTBF according to OEM standards
- Meet required MTTR
- Meet required machine reliability.
- Conduct inspections on mining equipment to prevent breakdowns.
- Adhere to all EHS requirements.
- Work in line with Sandvik quality standards and LEAN principles.
Your profile
- High School Certificate to meet college entry requirements.
- Relevant Craft Certificate.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the repairs and rebuilding of Sandvik machines and components.
- Medical Certification to work in a mining environment.
Location
Zambia – Centre
