CREDITORS ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT (1)

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Overall job purposes: Entry and posting of supplier invoices (vendor) and make payments due.

Duties and Responsibilities;

• Ensures smooth flow of documents and data collection by checking all documents received.
• Writes cheques for suppliers and pay out creditors in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contracts.
• Posts invoices for vendors and collection of vendor statements in order to have a true reflections of vendors accounts.
• Coordinates with stores by making follow-ups with stores for any pending invoices awaiting posting and payment.
• Collection of tax clearance certificates from vendors in order to comply with ZRA requirements.

Qualifications;

• Grade twelve (12) certificate
• ACCA level 2 or its equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience work experience.

Skills/Competencies;

• Analytical skills
• Conversant with AX systems, Microsoft excel and word
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Quick thinker
• Internet literate
