Tobacco Processors Zimbabwe (Pvt) Limited, a leading tobacco processing company has vacancies for Security Assistants. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the positions, which have fallen vacant within the Security Department.

Principal Accountability

  • Ensure that guards who are fit for duty are deployed in time.
  • Ability to operate a two way radio system effectively.
  • Ensure that movement of all vehicles transporting tobacco is recorded accurately in the electronic Green Stock Movement Database.
  • Carry out patrols and do random spot checks to ensure compliance to security policies and procedures.
  • Conduct security risk assessment with implementable recommendations.
  • Carry out investigations as may be assigned.
  • Drive company vehicles as instructed by the Head of Security and or Superintendent

Requirements

Qualifications and Attributes

  • Able to work under intense pressure
  • Minimum 5 ‘0’ Levels including Mathematics & English.
  • Holder of a clean class 4 Drivers License with two years driving experience a must.
  • At least two years experience in the Police, Army or reputable security organization plus a certificate in Security/Risk Management or equivalent.
  • Computer literacy a must.
  • Good communication skills, analytical skills, report writing skills and customer care.
