Security Specialist Job :ZANACO
Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (Zanaco) is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals for the following job aimed at contributing to the Bank’s strategic vision, in the Risk Division under the Legal Department at Head Office.
Responsibilities
- To protect the Bank’s interests and minimize losses by ensuring that all Bank securities are effectively and adequately managed
- Under the supervision of the Securities Head
- Review the Bank’s security documentation and status to ensure that the Bank is fully covered at all times
- Prepare security documentation and draft agreements and legal documents with respect to Bank security where required
- To prepare security documents such as Mortgage Deeds, Assignments, Debenture Deeds and Agricultural Charge Deeds
- To ensure that all Commercial properties belonging to the Bank have Certificates of Title or processes relating to obtaining them are underway
- To prepare drafts and tend to the registration before relevant registries of all types of realizable securities in order to secure the credit facilities are given out by the Bank in terms of its customers
- To ensure that all the Bank’s properties are on title, and the Certificates of Title are properly secured and all lease agreements for leased properties are scrutinized and approved by the department
- Legal research on Collateral documentation to secure the Bank’s interests
- Ensure timely and accurate registration of all bank securities of the bank at the Lands and Deeds registry, PACRA or any other registry that may be applicable
- Ensure that proof of registration of securities is uplifted
- Conduct due diligence on all Bank security to ensure no caveats have been placed and to place caveats on the Bank’s behalf where necessary
- Any other responsibilities or tasks as maybe assigned by management

Qualifications
- Five Credits Grade 12 Certificate including Mathematics and English
LLB Degree - Must have a valid practicing certificate from ZIALE
