Senior Network Administrator

Head of the ICT with ultimate responsibilities of leading the Network Administration Team and perform the designing, organizing, installing, and maintaining the RPS Group’s computer hardware, software and networks to meet desired group operations and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide appropriate leadership, coaching, supervision, and guidance to the Network Administration Team.
  • Perform hardware and software maintenance, training and consultation, and provide recommendations about future planning and development of ITC resources.
  • Advise management on the best practices in the ICT area so that the group moves with time in ensuring that the IT aspects and needs make company operations easier in all departments.
  • Monitor and maintain technology to ensure it is accessible and equipped with current hardware and software.
  • Ensure that company IT assets are well secured and documented by keeping complete Asset Register.
  • Secure and Safeguard Company information through regular and safe back up of company files.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing (EDP).

Preferred Professional Qualifications

  • Holder of at least a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science.
  • Any Other Appropriate Qualifications, such as CISCO CCNA Certification, ICT Security, Programming skills, etc., will be added advantage.

Knowledge / Experience

  • Minimum of 5 – 10 years’ experience
