Project Accountant (1)

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Deputy Finance Manager, You will provide accounting support with regards to grants management policies and procedures in compliance with CRS’ established accounting standards, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), donors’ rules and regulations, and legal requirements to support high-quality programs serving the poor and vulnerable. You will efficiently perform accounting services through documenting the project/grant financial transactions by compiling, analyzing, and verifying account information, preparing account entries, and delivering financial reporting services throughout the project/grant life cycle.
Note: Depending on the project/grant portfolio (scope and complexity), the Project/Grant Accountant can be assigned responsibility for delivery of accounting and financial reporting services for either payable or receivable transactions.
Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Officer (2)
Job Purpose
Reporting to the Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning Coordinator (MEAL). You will provide guidance on Monitoring and Evaluation; Accountability and Learning (MEAL) strategy of the country program (CP) and ensure compliance to the MEAL strategy and design. You shall implement and manage an integrated MEAL system of the CP ensuring that projects have user-friendly and robust MEAL systems that promote efficient capturing and management of high-quality data related to project activities and provide timely and relevant information for reporting to donors.

Job Purpose
This position exists to transport CRS staff and partners/clients to and from relevant destinations in a safe and comfortable manner. The position will also carry out messenger services and will deliver mail and other goods to specified recipients.
COMPLIANCE MANAGER
Job Summary
This position exists to take the lead in CRS/Zambia to set up an operational Internal Compliance system that will ensure a systematic approach to evaluate and improve effectiveness of risk management, internal control and governance processes.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the Compliance Manager should understand and documents the internal control environment, systems and procedures, conducts unannounced periodic reviews of all financial transactions and the supporting documents of the financial transaction processing functions, as well as reviews of all other support units (procurement, fleet, administration, human resources, IT) and projects. He/she will maintain a comprehensive list of all sub recipient organizations, including award amount, obligation amount, start and end date of award and tracks the total amount of USG resources.
Monitoring Evaluation Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator (1)
Job Summary
This position exists to provide overall guidance on MEAL strategy of the country program (CP) and ensure compliance to the MEAL strategy. S/he will design, implement and manage an integrated MEAL system of the CP. S/he will work closely with MEAL and program staff to ensure that projects have user-friendly and robust MEAL systems that promote efficient capturing and management of high-quality data related to project activities and provide timely and relevant information for reporting to donors, managing for results internally, learning, supporting business development processes, showcasing impact and meeting the needs of other stakeholders.
Reporting to the Head of Programs, The MEAL Coordinator will oversee the function of Monitoring and Evaluation, Accountability and Learning for the entire Country Program. The position plays a critical role in ensuring all program goals and objectives are met. The incumbent will oversee the development of all monitoring and evaluation assessment tools which assist in determining whether the program progress is meeting the expectations of Donors, CRS, Partners and beneficiaries, if systems in place are effective in delivering expected results, whether the project implementation is in line with the budget and finally, where there are deviations from the plans and guidelines in place. The position will ensure that program staff prioritizes Monitoring and Evaluation and that it is included in all project implementation plans. The MEAL Coordinator will strive to ensure high program quality. He/she will ensure that MEAL staff, Program Managers and Partners are fully capacitated to be able to monitor and evaluate their own programs. This is achieved through training, mentorship, learning and information sharing opportunities. The MEAL Coordinator will ensure that success stories, lessons learnt and project achievements are all documented and shared. The MEAL Coordinator must be flexible as he/she is expected to support the entire Country Program.
