The anticipated USAID Evidence for Health (EH) project will provide technical support to health offices, implementing partners, local partners and the Government of Zambia stakeholders as each strives to improve data systems and utilization. Akros is currently seeking candidates for several roles on this upcoming opportunity. Hiring of selected candidates is contingent upon successful award of the project to Akros.

Chief of Party (Evidence for Health): The Chief of Party will serve as the primary liaison between USAID and Akros on behalf of this grant. S/he will be expected to provide administrative, programmatic, and managerial oversight of all aspects of the technical assistance.

Deputy Chief of Party (Evidence for Health): The Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) directly report to the COP in activity implementation and management. The DCOP will take over leadership and oversight of the activity in the absence of the COP. This position is responsible for coordinating the various technical experts and aligns them to NFNC and all the program activities.

Director of Finance and Administration (Evidence for Health): The Director of Finance and Administration will oversee financial operations and tasks, such as accounting, procurement, etc. according to USAID and USG procedures, rules and regulations. The Director of Finance and Administration will supervise the accounting team to coordinate reporting activities.

HMIS Senior Adviser (Evidence for Health): This adviser will be responsible for supporting the Government of Zambia to strengthen the HMIS for USAID’s Evidence for Health. This will include HMIS data management, data use across the Zambian health system, and data collection and integration for decision-making.
