Simbisa Brands Zambia is Currently Recruiting: Store Manager – Vasilis (Mandahill, Lusaka)

 Purpose of the Job

To be fully responsible for ensuring that the business (the complex) is run efficiently to attain the predetermined profitability standards. Operations must be performed within the mission, vision, core values and strategic intent of the organization and without leaving room for prejudice to the company.

Selected Key Responsibilities

• Daily management of the store
• Ensure that ideal gross profit is achieved
• Manage local store marketing and performance of Sales Assistants to ensure projected daily turnovers are achieved
• Ensure that the production teams’ produce (cakes, muffins, bread and confectionery in general) complies with brand and health standards
• Ensure that shift banking is done correctly

Skills and Experience

• At least 3 years’ experience in a management role (preferably in a bakery setting)
• A diploma in the culinary arts or business-related discipline (not strict requirement)
• Sound understanding of basic financial statements
