J&J Transport Zambia Ltd. is urgently looking for a suitably qualified, energetic, proactive and experienced individual with high integrity and accountability with a minimum of two years’ experience to fill the following position:

Small Handling Equipment Operator

Key requirements for the candidate include:

  • Must know how to operate small cargo handler such as forklift 5 ton, forklift 10ton, or similar.
  • Must possess a drivers license
  • Should possess full Grade 12 School Certificate and a certificate in Forklift operation
  • Move full and/or empty pallets, and break bulk from one position to another in the yard or warehouse following instructions.
  • Ability to follow routine procedures for scheduled maintenance, keep a maintenance log bog as well as conduct daily checks of assigned machinery.
  • Willingness to work on weekends
