ZESCO Limited is a vertically integrated electricity utility, which generates, transmits, distributes and supplies electricity in Zambia. It is a public utility, with the Government of the Republic of Zambia being a sole shareholder.Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following position:-

Software Engineer – Prepaid Systems (X2) M7

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Grade 12 School Certificate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
  • Registered member of the EIZ.
  • Four (04) years post qualification experience.

ATTRIBUTES

  • Good understanding and knowledge of Prepaid Billing Systems Application.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Database.
  • Proficient in all aspects of Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Significant programming knowledge in Oracle PL/SQL, Java, C, C++, Power Builder.
  • Skilled in requirements Analysis and Project Documentation.
  • Ability to develop interfaces between System Applications.
  • Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified.
