LOGISTICS & DISTRIBUTION OFFICER (1) – LUSAKA

Responsibilities

• Understanding the whole supply chain & coordinate it effectively
• Manage stock levels, delivery times and transport costs
• Coordinate and control the order cycle
• Evaluate performance quality and plan improvements
• Liaise with clearing agent on imports & pre-alerts
• Verify all import documents for accuracy & speedy payments
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers
• Analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions

Qualifications

• Grade 12 School Certificate
• Purchasing & Supply Diploma or Graduate
• 3 years work experience with traceable references
• Computer literate with knowledge of excel, word
• SAGE knowledge and experience in Steel Industry an added advantage
