REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (rfp) NO. SOS-FIN/1/2018 FOR THE PROVISION OF EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (03 NO.) YEARS

SOS Children’s Villages Zambia is a registered nonprofit organization in the Republic of Zambia and is an affiliate to SOS Children’s Villages International which has a presence in 134 countries and territories. SOS Children’s Village Zambia has been operational in Zambia since 1999 and has 4 villages operating in Lusaka, Kitwe, Livingstone, and Chipata. The programmes run by SOS Zambia include the following:

Alternative Care programming;
Community based Family Strengthening Programme;
Kindergarten Schools
Hermann Gmeiner Basic schools
Hermann Gmeiner High School
1 Medical Centre
Youth Vocation Training Centre

SOS Childrens Village Zambia has budgeted for consultancy services in the 2018 budget and it is intended that part of these funds be applied towards the contract for the Provision of External Audit Services for a period of three (03 No.) years.

SOS now invites eligible Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants registered Audit Firms to submit their proposals for undertaking an audit of the organization’s financial statements for the period of three years.

The evaluation criteria will be based on Quality and Cost Based Selection procedures described in this Request for Proposals (RFP).

The RFP includes the following documents:

Section 1 – Information to Audit firms;

Section 2 – Technical Proposal – Standard Forms;

Section 3 – Financial Proposal – Standard Forms;

Section 4 – Terms of Reference.

The proposals in sealed envelopes should be clearly marked “RFP NO. SOS-FIN/1/2018 THE PROVISION OF EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES TO THE SOS CHILDRENS VILLAGE FOR THE PERIOD OF THREE (03 NO.) YEARS’ and addressed to the National Director, SOS Children’s Village Zambia, Plot 23217/35 PHI, P.O BOX 37907, Lusaka and must be received not later than Thursday, October 4th, 2018 at 10:30 hours local time.

HOWEVER, TELEGRAPHIC AND/OR ELECTRONIC OFFERS SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

The closing date for the receipt of proposals is Friday 19th October 2018 at 10:30 hours local time and will be opened in the Boardroom based on the same date at 10:30 hours in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
