Structural Engineer Needed at JBG Gauff Ingenieure (Nyimba)

Gauff Ingenieure, a consulting engineering firm based in Zambia is hereby inviting suitably qualified and experienced Zambians to fill the position of Structural Engineer.

Responsibilities

• To undertake structural design works
• Dimensioning of reinforced concrete structures
• Preparation of reinforcement drawings and bills of quantities
• Review of contractor’s design drawings
• Prepare design reports and structural design documentation and undertake site supervision assignments

Location of Assignment

• Zambia
• Occasional assignments in the Eastern and Southern region of Africa

Qualifications

• BSc Degree in Civil Engineering from reputable university (not college)
• University results in structural design related subjects of B or better
• Proven practical experience in structural engineering assignments
• Able to use CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit
• Member of EIZ / EngRB
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be a team player
