Bonanza Resort invites dedicated, passionate, creative, and committed candidates to join our dynamic team to support our finance and management team by completing routine clerical and accounting tasks. Preparing management reports, maintaining reports, and completing accounting duties for the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor accounts and incoming payments
  • Perform verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivable data
  • Verify discrepancies
  • Respond to and resolve clients’ billing issues ad questions
  • Prepare and manage bills, invoices and bank deposits
  • Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger
  • Make sure that all payments are properly posted
  • Assist in preparing financial statements
  • Assist in preparing detailing accounts receivable status
  • Make sure that all invoices are billing at the correct and agreed rates with agents/ customers

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Pastel & ACCPAC SAGE Accounting packages
  • Knowledge in hotel accounting software i.e., OPERA, MICROS, Product management.
  • Proven working experience as Accounts Receivable Clerk
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Grade twelve certificate
  • At least a certificate/diploma in Accounting/finance field (ZICA)
  • Must have three (3), traceable referees
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar position.
