JOB TITLE: Assistant Housekeeper

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

  • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
  • Hotel Diploma from a reputable high learning institution
  • Three years’ work experience in a similar position in a deluxe hotel
  • In-depth understanding of Hotel Accounting Procedures, stock and cost control, budgets, etc.
  • Fully computer literate

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Defines resources and actions to achieve objectives within constraints
  • Creates a motivating vision of the future for the team
  • High energy levels and hands on approach
  • Able to work irregular hours as per business requirements
  • Customer service focus
  • Routine administration and control of work-flow assignments
  • Develops strategies that support the Group`s vision
  • Maintain and enhance agreed operation standards

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES / CAPABILITIES

  • Possess strong leadership qualities and excellent organization skills
  • Ability to perform well at high business levels, able to supervise and lead own station
  • Must be able to work under great pressure
  • Must be a team player with high levels of initiative.
