I. POSITION INFORMATION

POSITION TITLE: SUPERVISOR AIRPORT SERVICES
JOB GRADE: ZA3
REPORTS TO (TITLE): MANAGER COMMERCIAL
LOCATION: LUSAKA HQ

II. JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direct supervision of the Manager Commercial, The Supervisor Airport Services will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and controlling the activities of Airport operations & administration.

III. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply appropriate policies, procedures, rules & regulations related to airport operations, safety, security & administrations designed by Zambia Airways in the application of every activity at the airport.
• Ensure the appropriate policies, procedures, Rules & Regulations related to the Regulatory Body Standards and Recommended Practices.
• Implement the predetermined plan based on the standard procedures, rules & regulations.
• Coach Monitor & follow up the implementation of duties & responsibilities & evaluate the performance of subordinates periodically.
• Provide a feedback to each subordinate & take corrective measures/remedial actions/ when it is necessary.
• Coordinate & collaborate stakeholders to make Airport safe, secure and favorable airport environment.
• Prepare annual budget for the airport operations and support activities & services.
• Maintain the highest level of customer service of the Airport.
• Manage & Coordinate emergency exercises at its predetermined schedule.
• Execute & ensure the execution of the predetermined plans efficiently & effectively.
• Prepare timely well-organized performance report & send it to Manager Commercial.
• Perform all other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor

IV. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in any relevant field of studies
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in airlines or related areas with at least 2 years’ management experience as Supervisor or equivalent level.
