Responsibilities:
- Allocate work to the survey and road marking teams and check that the work is carried out to an acceptable standard.
- Designing of all Roads and Earthworks projects including roads, dams, parking areas, sports fields, platforms etc.
- Submit the designs to the Project Manager or his designate for review and approval.
- Assist with the planning of works together with the Supervisors and Managers involved.
- Setting out of works on site by yourself and the survey teams.
- Uploading and setting out of other designs given by third parties.
- Ensuring that the Company’s Health and Safety Standards are met at all times.
- Ensure that the construction works are carried out as per the designs.
Qualification and experiences:
- Higher Diploma in Survey or Civil Engineering.
- Sound Knowledge of and experience with GPS Survey Instruments and Robotic Total Stations.
- Sound Knowledge of Model maker and Road maker software packages.
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the field of Civil survey and construction.
