Tearfund Zambia Latest Job Vacancy: Human Resources Business Partner


Tearfund’s Global HR team are looking to recruit an experienced HR professional to partner with our Southern & East Africa Cluster management team based in Zambia to provide a proactive and responsive HR service across the region.

You will deliver best practice HR advice and direction on HR strategy, in accordance with employment legislation, Tearfund’s policies and procedures and our organisational values. Working with the Cluster management team you will ensure that staff are recruited, trained, developed and engaged to carry out their work to achieve Tearfund’s desired impact in Southern & East Africa.

The successful candidate will be qualified in HR or Organisational Development (e.g. CIPD), with substantial proven experience in HR management, business partnering, and organisational development ideally within the region. You must have proven experience of providing a proactive, professional HR service and be able to develop and implement HR practice within a changing, fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and influencing skills and cross-cultural awareness will be critical success factors for this role.

This position will involve travel for up to a maximum of 3 months per year.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package. Salary: 393,404 ZMK
