Responsibilities
- Assist project leaders in development and dissemination of appropriate low cost food processing technologies
- Carry out microbiology and chemical sample analyses
- To operate equipment in the food science centre
- Assist project leaders in writing project proposals
- Running daily activities of food microbiology and food chemistry laboratories
Qualifications
- Grade 12 certificate or its equivalent from recognised secondary/high school
- Diploma in microbiology, chemistry, food science, food and nutrition or the equivalents/ close related
- Laboratory experience will be added advantage
