Tender for the Supply and Delivery of ICT Equipment: Local Government Association of Zambia


TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ICT EQUIPMENT – IFB NO. LGAZ/ELGCDP/04/2019

The Local Government Association of Zambia (LGAZ), in partnership with the Commonwealth Local Government Forum (CLGF) and the Ministry of Local Government (MLG) with the support from the European Union (EU) and the UK Department for International Development (DfID) is implementing a project entitled Enhancing Local Government Capacity for Development in 10 districts in three provinces namely Lusaka, Copperbelt and Northern from 1 February 2018- 31 January 2021. The overall objective of the Project is to Enhance local governance for effective, efficient and inclusive service delivery and development in Zambia.

LGAZ NOW INVITES BIDS FROM ELIGIBLE BIDDERS FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF THE FOLLOWING ICT EQUIPMENT:

Bidders are free to bid for an individual Lot OR all Lots.  The basis for bid evaluation and contract award will be on a Lot by Lot basis.

LGAZ now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the Supply and Delivery of the above ICT equipment at the Local Government Association of Zambia Offices at Civic Centre, 4th Floor New Wing PO Box 33718 Independence Avenue Lusaka, Zambia.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information concerning the bid from the LGAZ offices, situated on the 4th Floor, Civic Centre, Independence Avenue Road, Lusaka between 8:00-17:00 hours during working days. Bidding Documents may be downloaded at no cost from the Local Government Association of Zambia website https://lgazambia.org.zm. HOWEVER, ELECTRONIC OR TELEFAX BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Appropriately bound, sealed Bids labelled in bold “TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ICT EQUIPMENT” must be deposited in the Tender Box situated at the Foyer, at the LGAZ offices, situated on the 4th Floor, Civic Centre, Independence Avenue Road, LUSAKA on or before Thursday, 16th December, 2019 at 10:00 hours local time.  LATE BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Bids shall be opened immediately after tender closing in the presence of bidders or their representatives who chose to attend. The tender opening will take place on 16th December 2019 at 10:00 hours at the same venue.

LGAZ will exercise the right to choose the successful bidder based on value for money principals and will not bind itself to accept the lowest or highest price.
