The Technical Education, Vocational, and Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA) is a body corporate established under the Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training (TEVET) Act No. 13 of 1998 and the TEVET (Amendment) Act No. 11 of 2005.

TEVETA was established to regulate, monitor and co-ordinate Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training in consultation with industry, employers, workers and other stakeholders.

TEVETA wishes to recruit qualified and experienced Zambians to fill the following vacant positions.

7) DATA ENTRY OFFICER

7.1 OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • To process learner details

7.2 Duties and Responsibilities

These include:

  • Provides data entry services.
  • Ensuring the confidentiality of data collected and stored
  • Validating learner details.
  • Generating statistical and data reports as required and distributes.
  • Filing and dispatching leaner reports.
  • Printing statement of results.

7.3 Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

7.3.1 Knowledge of:

  • Word processing, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Data confidentiality issues.

7.3.2 Skills

  • 50 WPM typing.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

7.4 Minimum Education

  • Full grade 12 certificate/5’o’levels with mathematics and English.
  • 50 WPM typing certificate.

7.5 Minimum Relevant Experience

  • 1 Year Experience in working with databases
